Korean Beef Loaded Wedges

What you need

Ingredients

  • 2 Rump Steaks
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Pickled red onion
  • Spring onion
  • Sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp mayo
  • Juice of 1/2 lime

Recipe method

1. Place Mash Direct Skin-On Wedges into the air-fryer for 15 minutes, making sure to toss halfway through.

2. In a bowl, add the chopped garlic, ginger, both soy sauce, hoisin sauce along with the gochujang paste and sesame oil. Mix well to combine.

3. Trim any fat off the steaks and cut into thin strips. Pour the mixture and mix into steaks. Set aside.

4. Next, add the mayo, gochujang paste and lime juice to a separate bowl mixing to combine.

5. Cook the steak in a hot pan for about 5 minutes until cooked through.

6. Once the wedges are ready, drizzle over the gochujang mayo, before topping with the pickled red onions. Garnish with the sesame seeds and the spring onion.
