Christmas Leftover Pie

A Boxing Day Feast!

What you need

Ingredients

  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 Leeks, sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Leftover turkey and ham
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 200ml chicken stock
  • 150ml cream
  • Filo pastry
  • Salt, pepper and thyme

Recipe method

Preheat oven to 190 degrees

In a pan, sauté chopped onions, sliced leeks, and minced garlic until softened.

Add leftover turkey and ham and stir in flour.

Pour in chicken stock, add salt, pepper, and a pinch of thyme. Allow the mixture to reduce.

Turn off heat and stir in cream until the mixture thickens.

Cover the filling with layers of filo pastry and bake until the pastry is golden brown.

Serve this delightful Turkey and Ham Pie with Mash Direct Beer Battered Chips and crispy Beer Battered Onion Rings.
