We are thrilled to announce our latest success in the Great British Food Awards this week! Our Beer Battered Chips have been Highly Commended in the Gluten Free category alongside Hepworth Pullman, First Class Ale!
The Great British Food Awards were launched in 2014 to celebrate the country’s finest home-grown ingredients, as well as the hard working folk who produce and cook them. Entering these awards presents an amazing opportunity for products to be tried and taste by some of the UK’s foodie royalty. From Michel Roux Jr and John Torode to Raymond Blanc, this prestige panel judged various categories and gave their food for thought!
Since launching our Beer Battered Chips in 2017, they are one of our fastest growing products. The years spent in the kitchen crafting the perfect oven-cooked chips have paid off with our fresh, flavourful, crunchy and gluten-free chips taking the supermarket fridges by storm.
The Great British Food team described them as “The perfect solution when you don’t have time to make your own, these delicious chips were well seasoned and beautifully crisp.” As a food brand that is passionate about producing quick, easy, healthy and convenient side dishes, we are over the moon to receive this feedback and to know that our Beer Battered Chips are amongst the best of Britain’s Gluten Free products!
