Mash Direct is an award-winning, long-established family-owned farming and food production enterprise, based near Comber. Specializing in quality potato and vegetable dishes, the company has experienced significant year-on-year growth and success over its twenty-year history. Mash Direct is now recruiting a Head of Operations to sit on the Senior Leadership Team.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS (NI, ROI, and UK)

This is a newly created, full-time role at Mash Direct that will require overseeing day-to-day operational tasks, managing production teams, production schedules, analysing operational processes, communicating with key stakeholders, and managing labour budgets to ensure efficient management of daily operations.

Applicants should have:

– A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior role, preferably within an FMCG environment.

– Operations management and team management skills.

– Analytical skills for process optimization.

– Excellent communication skills.

– Budgeting and financial management experience.

– Experience in manufacturing/production.

– Knowledge of the farming industry.

– A proven track record of success in a people leadership role.
