At Mash Direct we are proud not to discriminate against any wonky carrots or strangely shaped spuds. Instead we love our vegetables for what’s on the inside.
With six generations of growing knowledge, you could say we are out-standing in our field of expertise (bonus points for farming puns). We have therefore chosen to grow older, heritage varieties of vegetables which are bursting with flavour but not as readily available any more as they do not always conform to the strict size and shape requirements of the market. However we love our wonky veg and we aren’t ashamed to admit it. No wiggily parsnip or stangely shaped spud gets chucked because it’s not beautiful enough!
