Cheesy Brussels Sprouts

Perfect with your Christmas Dinner!

What you need

Ingredients

  • 2x Mash Direct Brussel Sprouts with a Butter Glaze
  • 50g butter
  • 50g plain flour
  • 200ml milk
  • 50g grated cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • *optional crispy bacon

Recipe method

1. Melt the butter in a pan and add the plain flour.

2. Stir until combined and then gradually add the milk, whisking to remove any lumps.

3. Add the grated cheese and season with salt and pepper.

4. Pour the brussels sprouts into a casserole dish and pour over the white sauce.

5. Top with grated cheese and crispy bacon.

6. Place under the grill until golden brown. Enjoy!
