Sausage and Mash Pie

What you need

Ingredients

  • 5 reduced-fat sausages
  • 2 red onions, sliced
  • 20g gravy granules (mixed with 300ml water)
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1 tsp garlic puree
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 40g cheddar cheese

Recipe method

1. Fry sausages until browned (approx. 10 mins), then add sliced red onions until softened.

2. Remove sausages, cut into smaller pieces.

3. Add mixed herbs, garlic puree, red wine vinegar, and beef gravy. Simmer.

4. Microwave Mash Direct Mashed Potato for 5 mins.

5. Spread the creamy mash over the pie, sprinkle with cheese and grill for 5 minutes.

Make it a meal.
